All Bids Back Auctions are back this weekend!

Dear SmartBidders,

Ever wanted to bid on high end, top of the line products without the fear of losing money? We got your back! We are bringing back our "ALL BIDS BACK" auctions this weekend - Win or get all your bids back for a select few auctions on the hottest items like iPad, HDTV and more!

Here's a quick rundown of how everything will work during this weekend:

1. All your bids will be returned if you don't win in our All Bids Back auctions - they will be returned as free bids to your account as soon as the auctions close and you are free to use them in our regular auctions right away. They will be clearly demarcated with a black border and a gift icon on top left corner.


2. Only paid bids are eligible for bidding in our All Bids Back auctions. You will be clearly shown the break up between your free bids (bids collected through coupons, rewards and other promotions) and paid bids in "My Bids Breakdown" panel.


3. These auctions don't fall under win limit and will not be counted towards to the weekly win limit.

Win Limit Update

Hello SmartBidders,

A quick update on our win limit based on your feedback:

We are extending the limit on bidding on the same product from 7 days to 15 days for high end products (retail price over $250). So to summarize,

The new win limit is 7 regular auction wins (beginner and reward auctions don't count in the limit) per 7 rolling days. Members are also prohibited to bid on the same product (excluding bid packs) that they have won in last 7 days (for products over $250 - the limit is last 15 days) so that everyone else has a chance to win.

We are pleased to announce that we will be running regular bids back auctions over the holiday season starting today.

Here are the set of rules for our regular Bids Back auctions:

1. All your discounted bids will be returned if you don't win in our Bids Back auctions. There are only a limited amount of discount bids available - so bid early, risk free before the auction goes to Closing Soon!


2. These bids will be returned as free bids and you will be able to use them right away in our regular auctions including the bids back auctions.


3. As usual, all paid bids which were placed in Closing Soon period would be returned as reward bids.
